WHO IS CLG?
CLG first opened its doors in Virginia Beach working with a major telecommunication client and within 2 years tripled in size and expanded to markets such as Knoxville, St Louis, and Nashville.
At CLG our passion is seeing our client’s customer base grow while developing future managers for their brand. With this is mind, our goal is to grow and expand into 10 more markets come the end of 2025.

Our CEO Colleen stared CLG when she was 26 years old after having 3 years of business development working alongside business owners.
“I knew I wanted to run a business that provided value to its clients and value to the people who worked within the business. I didn’t know exactly how I’d do it, so I found people out of college who were running companies and did my best to learn from them,” said Colleen.
Colleen attended the University of Oregon (go Ducks) and majored in English, “I think it’s important that my clients and future team understands that someone doesn’t have to have a background in business to be great in business.
Someone just must be willing to work really hard, learn a lot, and keep a great attitude at all times. That’s what I learned from my 3 years working with entrepreneurs and I’m passionate about paying forward the same teachings to my team and the same dedication to our clients,” said Colleen when asked about her background.

WHAT WE ARE ABOUT
Our Expertise
Our Innovation
Our Honesty
In order to understand the company, it’s important we give a little background on Colleen.
Colleen grew up in a small town in Oregon, the daughter of a teacher and social worker. She attended the University of Oregon with the intention to one day become a teacher. “I knew I loved developing people. So, naturally, I thought teaching would be a great fit,” says Colleen. In her senior year she had an opportunity to shadow the life of a teacher for a week. “After I got the chance to see what the life of a teacher was really like, I thought, oh crap, this isn’t for me.” There was so much bureaucracy and teacher’s didn’t seem to have much freedom of how they led their class so after graduation she decided to move to Denver, Colorado.
“When I moved I immediately had a real ‘Oh shit moment’, she said. “I was applying for so many jobs, but everyone wanted more experience than I had at that point. Then I happened to find a sales firm who agreed to teach and develop me regardless of my experience. I fell in love with the industry. It came as a shock to my parents because we never anticipated me being in a business role. What I figured out though, is that the sales industry gave me an opportunity to develop people like a teacher, but I didn’t have to settle with a teachers salary or lack of freedom.”
In 2016, Colleen made the decision to open a firm on her own, with a new campaign in Hampton, VA, which is where Catalyst Leadership Group was born. Since then, Catalyst Leadership Group has been a top producing office for clients like Verizon and Xfinity, opened a new location in Nashville TN, and has successfully developed multiple Managers. “My intention running a business is first to create a professional environment where professionals can start, regardless of past experience, and have a positive supporting place to grow both professionally and personally. And second, for the motivated crowd who wants to be in control of their destiny, my aim is help them gain financial freedom through teaching them the disciplines of effort, attitude, and student mentality.”
...to be the catalyst of personal & professional development; to build an empire of great leaders through positivity, work ethic, and the drive to create success in individuals and the team.
This, our team, is what will enable us to generate results for our clients and grow into new markets across the nation.
We conduct face to face sales for our clients providing upward mobility and longevity for motivated people to get ahead in their career. That is pretty much it.
To provide people an opportunity, regardless of background or prior experience, that they can grow professionally and personally within a positive environment.
“I truly believe that the most important skills I’ve gained from working entry level into my current CEO position is the importance of effort, attitude, and my own student mentality.”
Simple. We represent AT&T in large big box retail locations and we sign up new and existing customers. We rely on a law of average sales system because it is so simple we are able to teach a large variety of skill-sets like self management, sales, communication skills, resilience, attitude maintenance/mental toughness.
Again, this is all learned from the sales portion of what we do.
Catalyst Leadership Group provides a positive, professional, and thorough sales force that bridges the gap between large companies and their customers. Our goal is to provide our clients with great results with a ton of integrity. We have built an organization dedicated to growing our clients’ new and existing accounts, while simultaneously, developing our team into professional business leaders.
